Group Announcements ![]() Mark your planners!Attention Peer Leaders: Those of you who were Peer Leaders last year might remember the Archdiocesan Peer Leader Training Day. This was an all-day event held at the Olmsted and attended by Peer Leaders representing all of the Catholic high schools. You heard speakers, had activities, and spent some time thinking of ways to encourage your peers to be drug, alcohol, and tobacco-free. A similar event is planned for this year on Tuesday, December 1st at Epiphany Church in Middletown. This will once again be an all-day event in which Peer Leaders will meet with other Peer Leaders representing our Archdiocesan schools to hear speakers, participate in prevention-themed activities, and work collaboratively with other Peer Leaders to find creative means to keep students drug, alcohol, and tobacco-free. Many of the details are still being worked out for this event and much more information will be coming your way in the next week or so. What you can do now is go ahead and mark your planners for this event and then watch your e-mail for all of the information. There may be a small fee for this event, but it should not exceed $5. We know that many of you will not want to miss classes here at school on that date, so it is not a mandatory event, but we want to encourage you to participate if possible. Remember to keep an eye on your e-mail and watch for information on this wonderful annual event. Mrs. Berry and Mrs. Deweese ![]() THANKS FOR BEING ROLE MODELSWe'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for your commitment to be Peer Leaders this year. We appreciate all you do to keep your promise to be drug, alcohol, and tobacco free. We want to thank you and encourage you even more as some of you face potentially difficult situations with friends and family. We believe in you and respect you for the choices you make each day!
